Boozie McGee in NB

Christopher Dominion (Moncton)

First off, I meant for that that to rhyme. Now down to business!

NB-Liquor says it had record sales in the 2005-2006 fiscal year, with about 344 million dollars in total-which is about a million more than what they made last year.

About 123 million dollars of that goes to the province, and ofcourse back into your pocket.

Now, do you remember early on in the summer, when Statistics Canada came out with a report that called New Brunswick the fattest province, and all Atlantic Canadians are a bunch of drunks? Well, I guess this proves it doesn't it?

It's funny how alcohol sales is a force to recon with in this province...because, I'm sure you know this, there doesn't seem to be much else to do in NB. I've been on benders, where I've actually been out drinking EVERY DAY in one week.

Bottom line?...NB needs more entertainment, to take our minds off of eating, and drinking constantly to the point where we sink this province...literally, and figuratively.
